Akira Amani
About
Hello! I'm an artist based in London UK, specialising in traditional graphite art, illustration, digital art and wearable art. I’m interested in exploring fantastical folklore as early teachings about the psyche through my work. Unspoken narratives that embrace the unseen emotional landscapes that stretch within us all is the undercurrent throughout my personal work.
Although I enjoy exploring diverse art styles, my personal artwork is based on creating imagery that evokes empowerment through an aesthetic with ethereal beauty and a fierce dark edge.
I've had the privilege of collaborating with a wide range of brands, both established and start ups since 2012. In addition to my commercial work, I am the founder of a wearable art label, where I strive to merge art and fashion to inspire, empower and uplift. Find out more by clicking here.

Teaching and workshops
Throughout my teenage years, creative skills were integral to expressing myself and overcoming challenging times. In 2016, I earned a PGCE qualification and developed accredited courses in creative arts including branding, digital and wearable art. Tailored for A Level students, these courses, accredited by University of the Arts London, aimed to equip young people with the tools and skills to express themselves as well as gain employment within the creative industry. .
Today, I extend my teaching expertise to adults through personalised one-on-one sessions. If you'd like to find out more please do get in touch via the form below.
