This is my latest personal creative adventure! No matter how old I get, I always want to be learning new skills and pushing my creativity. After many years of working digitally, it's challenging to solely be working by hand and developing the patience needed for stop motion. It also involves designing and sculpting stop motion characters, costume design as well as handcrafting scenery. 

 

Growing up I admired the work of Ray Harryhausen, Lotte Reiniger, Michel Ocelot  and of course anything by Aardman Animations. I’m currently thoroughly engrossed with Georges Méliès’ pioneering work and Segundo de Chomón’s Hôtel électrique .
